One of my Book Club ladies needs a virtual hug today.
When you have reached the end of the light, and there is nothing but darkness before you, faith is knowing one of two things about the next step you take: either there will be something solid to support you, or you shall be anointed to fly.

Last night was a hectic, crazy, fun evening. Bryan held a private reading for an auditionee who happened to live in our area, so I made a big ole italian dinner and had Nina and the kids over. I did a tomato-cream sauce with a white wine reduction and some baby shrimp on a penne regate.. it was delicious. Baby Ethan approved.
I had so much fun with all three youngins crawling all over me while the other adults worked in the living room. And I slept like a log.

I’ve got to take the babeh to the doctor today. Ringworm. Seriously, I am so over seeing the pediatrician. And I’m not gonna lie.. I noticed dry patches on his legs, but the child has eczema, so I figured it was just flaring up. (We’ll see if that’s the actual diagnosis. Better safe than sorry, I suppose.) And at least it’s a quick, painless fix. You just burn those things off with Clorox, right?
(I kid.)

Later today: a post on things that have made my life better. And not one of those eye-rolling, philosophical, Hallmark sappy “improvements”, but like, STUFF. That you can BUY. To make YOUR LIFE BETTER. I mean, sure, love is great. Kids are fun. But flocked, slim-line hangers? THAT’S what I’m talking about.
