So Binja’s got something wrong with him. It’s either his first tooth coming in or an ear infection.. and, of course, saying that makes me a contender for Mother of the Year. “It’s either gangreen or the hiccups” would beat me out, but I think most parents are better than that. Then again, that dad who microwaved his baby is on trial this week. Even I knew that one.
Binja was going to go to his grandmother’s today, but SHE’S got some crud, too. It’s just that time of year, I think, and our global warming has been especially evident in the south this spring, where warm temps came way early followed by hard freezes, so the plants are all sorts of wonky and who knows what is blooming. Whatever’s blooming, though, there’s plenty of it, and everyone is suffering because of it.
While he’s been napping, I’ve been playing around on my new favorite toy: Adobe Photoshop Express ONLINE. Yes, you read that right. If you already receive Photojojo’s weekly updates (AND YOU SHOULD), you already know that Adobe Photoshop Express has put a beta version online. It’s not the full Photoshop (hence the “Express”), but it does everything a layman (i.e. Sarah Lena Brown) needs. Sharpening, tinting, touch up and soft focus are all there. And my favorite? Color pop. I feel like that one artist whose name escapes me now but she dressed children in grown up clothes and then only colors a rose? You know, that one. Well, it makes me feel like that.
