Um.. yeah, that’s all I’ve got. A big ole “um”.
You know how I talk about karma on here till I’m blue in the face and you’ve already clicked away to another site, possibly one with cats who laugh in the face of grammar, and yet I still feel the need to pound my fists and go, “No, really, karma works!” Huh? You know how that goes?
GUESS WHAT? Karma totally took care of me today.
(Hear that? It’s the deafening sound of half of you clicking back to lolcats. Which is fine. Tell them I said Oh Hai!)
So I had my salary review this morning, and while any raise is a good raise, I was significantly disappointed by the figures, which were less than what I thought I deserved (i.e. eleventy nine kajillion a year. Is that asking so much?).
I came here to you, internets, to complain and commiserate about how woe is me and blahblahblah and I wrote a good long post that was full of misery and poor-pitiful-Sarah, and how stressed out I am with all of the sudden changes in our lives, and I got to the point about growing my hair out (I always turn to my hair in times of despair), and how I have really sucked at exercising lately. I got to the “I’m just so tir” of “tired” and you know what happened? (more…)
I love this list! This list is a lot of the things we’re also doing to alleviate any and all debt in our lives, and it’s easy stuff to do!
