I think I have discovered a new pasttime:

Recreating classic film moments with my baby.

My child, the child who is, like, nine weeks (if that)?  My child weighed in today at 12 pounds.  AND TEN OUNCES.  My child is almost thirteen pounds.

The “whew” factor here is the fact that he’s also almost 24 inches long, so he’s not massive.  But he is definitely a hunk of infant.

In other news, he does not like being poked with needles.  Update at eleven.

Some interesting ideas on how to vacation with (or without) your children.  Bryan and I are planning two vacations this year, to accomplish both.
