It’s weird, to see him in the middle of the day.  He almost is like a person I don’t know.

I’m sure it was the same way on his side.  I was wearing glasses, after all.  And a badge.

But we had a lovely lunch over chicken sandwiches at Beauregard’s, like a happily married couple.  It was nice.

We’re trying to figure out what to do tonight.  We decided some adult time is in order.  Crossroads is opening in their new location, and Bryan did some of the work for them.. maybe we’ll visit.  Or maybe a few frames of bowling.  My vote?  I want to go to a shooting range. (I just thought that would be fun.  And a good way to destress.)

It’s nice to have so many choices ahead of us.

Bryan, thanks for my nooner. :)

We watched A Prairie Home Companion last night. (I’m very proud of us, because this means we’ve watched THREE movies this week.  We’re coming close to justifying our Netflix subscription!)

Now, I could sit here and be a poser who would just gush and say, “I love Garrison Keller!  Oh, I’ve listened to him since Jesus was in the third grade.”  But I would be lying, and that’s just not my style.  I’d much rather tell you that, yeah, I knew who he was, but only because my 80 year-old ex-cubemate used to pester me EVERY time the man came to town, which usually culminated in her asking me to sing some of that “good old music”.  I only sometimes obliged her.

Well, now I have known Garrison Keller.  And I’m in love with the man.  His deadpan delivery is AMAZING.  His presence is so understated, but you never miss him on stage.  It’s really something to be admired.

The movie, as a whole, was very good.  As Robert Altman’s last film before his passing last year, I think it was a very fitting swan song.  The cast was stellar (I could watch any movie that boasts Lily Tomlin, Meryl Streep, John C. Reily, and Kevin Kline), but the best part was the music!  I have to get the soundtrack with a quickness.

Well, it’s Friday, and it couldn’t come soon enough.  I’m hoping the gym is quieter tonight (I actually skipped it last night because on Wednesday, I had to wait for EVERY machine I needed to use), so I can get some work done in there.  And tomorrow afternoon, Bryan and I head to the VBC to see “The Producers”.  Very excited about it.

I also head to my first Twinderella rehearsal in almost a month.  I’m excited to go back, but just a bit peeved about a piece of info last night: I have, quite literally, a walk across in the first scene.  They want me to go to rehearsals that rehearse that scene.  As if my walk-across will be so ground-shattering that they need to be prepared for it.  But, alas, it will give me down time that I can’t fill with working out, and perhaps.. just perhaps.. I will finish that Chick Pea and the Snow Dragon book.
