“O!  She doth teach the torches to burn bright.
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
like a rich jewel in Ethiop’s ear..”

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet

I’m sure you people must think that Huntsville has gone underwater.

I have written scarcely since last week; Steph has updated twice in the last week.  That’s it.  Delle and Ra have both had children and have stopped updating with any frequency.  In short, we have all busied ourselves past the point of good writing.

Sorry about that.

It is freezing in my new office.  Normally, I exaggerate slightly, but it really is reading 68 degrees on my wall clock/thermometer.  That’s just nuts.  My space heater is in my car, but I’ll be bringing that sucker in tomorrow, no question.  I made the mistake of wearing a knee-length skirt today and I am losing feeling in my toes.

Had a LOVELY shower yesterday.  Thanks again, ladies.  I am drooling at the thought of artichoke bruscetta for dinner, followed by a piece of Bill’s now-famous carrot cake.

As I sit here and look at my color-coded calendar, which basically looks like a clown has vomited on, I am completely grateful that I wasn’t naive enough to get involved with any shows past Shel’s Shorts.  When I was asked last Sunday, I thought, “Hey, maybe I could..” but Bryan was smart enough to point out that we can’t both be involved with a show right now.  And although it’s weird to NOT be in a show, it’s nice to be home by five every night and stay there.

(Now, if I can just convince Bryan to do the same.. we might ACTUALLY have dinner before the wedding rehearsal.)

Well, oddly enough, that’s all I’ve got right now.  Mainly because my fingers are losing any feeling.
