“Love the girl who holds the world in a paper cup,
drink it up,
Love her and she’ll bring you luck.
And if you find she helps your mind, buddy,
take her home,
Don’t you live alone,
try to earn what lovers own.”

- “Danny’s Song”, Loggins & Messina

Today, I feel good.

It’s Thursday, already.  The week is almost done.

Rehearsals for “Shel’s Shorts” have gone, I think, masterfully well.  They’ve been amusing, no question.  It’s fun working with people I’ve worked with several times over.  People I would call my good friends.  It’s a nice change of events.  And it’s fun laughing at those people who aren’t our close friends.  Cause we’re catty that way.. it’s what we do.

Did pilates this morning.  Played with the puppies.  No mystery men in my backyard.  Oooh, and last night.. stomached a handful of Cheez-Its.  So that was nice.

Gena eternally won my heart last night with the plate-in-the-lip comment.  I giggled about that well into the evening.

Now, in a very weird (but good weird) turn of events, I am helping plan my bridal showers.  Very strange.  Very odd.  But, honestly, very cool.  Things are happening.  This wedding thing is actually going to happen.

(This is Sarah, being excited.)

Work, however, is still nuts.  I’m keeping my head afloat, and learning TONS, but it’s a struggle to keep my head above water most days.  I will be ready to have nights without a call time so I can stay as I need to and finish up.  And, you know, maybe then I can go see Delle and Matthew or Ronda and Scout, since I’ve only seen them when I’m dressed up like a giant bird as of late.

I had something to say, but as always, my train of thought has derailed.
