I tend to carry my stress in my ribs and lower back. For some reason, when I’m doing math (bear with me), it hurts me. So when I say a week of financial crunching is killing me, I most likely mean it. Math literally hurts me.
It was slightly rewarding, though, to know that I’m not half bad at numbers. I’m better than I give myself credit for.
I have the new David’s Bridal catalog in front of me. I hate trying to plan a wedding over three seasons. Everything I decide I like is either upgraded, or offered in new fantastic colors, or changed in some way that makes me rethink it. Including MY dress. A new dress is in this catalog that, quite literally, made me gasp when I saw it.
I hate weddings.
I don’t like photographing them, I don’t like being in them, I rarely like attending them. Especially weddings where there is no alcohol. Especially weddings where the food is catered by Lil Debbie (yes, it happens).
But parties.. parties, I like. So I basically want to be the best dressed girl in a killer party.
So, although we’re swamped at work, and I’ve easily been putting in 10 hour days, I took a little bit of time (okay, a LOT of time) today to go have lunch with the girls. And I leave you with my favorite quote from the lunch, which oddly enough, was skimmed over..
From Sweetie: “I wouldn’t be buying no titties on eBay.”
