So, I’m sure I appear very quiescent today. Haven’t written much. A lot of it is because I’m losing my voice.
(Ha.)
But I will say this: sushi was the breath of fresh air I needed.
The coolest thing about our big-little town is that we have very cool, convenient places to dine at lunch. On rare occasions, the many of us will occupy a table and laugh and smile and just generally be happy to be there. Today, we had a special celebration: it was my Keboobalah’s birthday. (Sort of.)
So we filled up the sitty-downey room at Edo’s to celebrate. It was a mixed crowd there, with many introductions.. and those are some of my favorite gatherings. K, I’m truly enamored with Abby. She’s too sweet for words. Please pass that along.
The coolest thing is that, while at that table, I vented my frustration at being asked to pull together a project IMMEDIATELY (or at least, adequately have delegated portions of it), and the lot of the people at the table all jumped in to help. And when I faltered yesterday at the idea of actually following through with the project, I was immediately slapped in the face by the head WildeChick. That was nice. And, quite frankly, I needed to be told to get my head out of my own ass. So, you know.. I’m actually okay with it now.
Our dress rehearsal is tonight.  Can’t wait! (I’m actually serious about that.) I’m ready to get this show on the road. I’m ready to get over to Jekyll & Hyde, where I’ll do some tech work (I need that), and then head on-stage with Seussical, which will be just freakin’ amazing. Bottom line, I’m ready to move. It IS all in the timing, after all..
