So Bryan is psyched about it.  Even Jenni wants to see it.  I imagine it will be our Christmas day venture.. “King Kong” is out soon.  I, however, have NO desire to see it.  Quite frankly, the movie breaks my heart into inconsolable pieces.  It is as depressing as it comes.  There is no happy ending there.  It’s like “Schindler’s List” with a giant gorilla. 

But today, on CNN.com:

The whizbang visual effects used to create Kong are designed by the multiple Oscar-winning Weta Digital Ltd. and the Weta Workshop Ltd., both based in New Zealand and created by Jackson. But the expressive face and soulful eyes are provided by Andy Serkis, who performed in the “Rings” trilogy as Gollum, a character who came to life with the help of computer-generated imagery.

And, you know, I could maybe get behind that.  Andy Serkis broke my heart in a great way as Gollum.. so, you know.. maybe..

(FYI, I’ve not got much on my plate today, so there may be an unusually high amount of updates.)
