Boy howdy. It’s been a day over here.
Work is so much different since everything’s been switched up. It’s just a bit more laid back. Not that it’s less busy, but there’s a certain quality.. it’s like we’re missing the urgency that used to permeate EVERYTHING we did. I’m okay with that. It’s a nice change.
The weather outside is lovely, yes, but it’s really screwing up my closet. I have packed all of my summer clothes. And tomorrow’s high is supposed to be 80 degrees?! Fall, why hast thou forsaken me?
I’m sleepy. But have rehearsal tonight. Which is okay, since I’ve missed the last week of rehearsal. I’ve been a BAAAAAD girl.
The more that I think about us moving in together, the more excited I get. I’ve never lived with a boy before. I am the confirmed bachelorette. I’ve never even considered it, honestly. But this makes me very happy. And now we’re looking at timelines.. tentative dates for ceremonies.. things of that nature. We’re thinking late spring/early summer. He said April, but I said I want Ra to be able to attend with child, so it would have to be later.
There is just so much to do. So much to start planning. You know, while the REST of life is happening. I wish I could be one of those girls who can stop everything else to plan their event. Instead, I’m just gonna have to buckle down. So here’s what I’m looking at:
Start “A Christmas Light” with RT. Bryan will move in during the run of the show, and it will close a week later. Bryan will also attend state competition during this time. I begin rehearsals for “The Great B Western” at RT. Cue Christmas. “GBW” will close, then I will go into rehearsals for “L5Y”. Bryan will begin LLT’s production of “South Pacific”. “L5Y” will close, and then I go into “The Vagina Monologues”. Once that’s closed and done, Bryan will begin LRT’s production of “The Crucible”. Once THAT’S done.. we plan to tie the knot.
Sure, that’s plenty of time to plan, right?
