360-some-odd-days-ago

Things I remember from last Halloween, by Sarah Brown.

This will be a short post.

I remember Matthew and Courtney’s precious costumes.  Very cute.

I remember the Witches’ Brew.
I remember expecting Morgan to show up as Jason from the scary movies, because he said his name should give his costume away.

I remember being surprised that, instead, he was Capt. Morgan.

I remember never admitting to that. :)

I remember the Witches’ Brew.

I remember Keboobalah and David showing up as Britney Spears.

Yes, both of them.

I remember thinking that I wish I had as cool a costume as Captain Hap Hook had.

I remember a meaningful conversation that flipped a switch.

I remember a HUGE spread of food that all had a Halloween theme.

I remember making the Kitty Litter Cake.

I remember some hoodlum children COMING INTO OUR HOUSE when we did not answer the doorbell fast enough.

I remember the Witches’ Brew.

I remember Jessica looking SOOOO precious in her costume.  She was truly classic.
I remember never wanting to budge from the porch.

I remember Delle changing into pajamas.

I remember passing out in my costume.

I remember thinking, "I have never ever been this drunk before."  And being right.

I remember waking up the next day and marveling at the amount of food we had left.

And I remember decorating for Christmas.

From the Inner Walls

Boss: Meirs withdrew her Supreme Court nomination today.

Me: Well, good for her.

Boss: I hope they find someone more conservative for her slot.

Me: MORE conservative?  Are you KIDDING me?

Boss: You know I’m a Republican, right?

Me: You know I’m a Liberal, right?

pause

Boss: I’ll pray for you.

AND IT WAS A JOKE.  It was FUNNY.  Because not everything, as it turns out, is black and white.

Warm and cozy

Mmmm.  Happy sigh.

I’m learning how to be happy and SarahBrown again.  They used to be very tightly fused, but they were temporarily split.  All better.

So last night, I ran home to feed the puppies, then over to Steph’s house to pick up Baby Girl for her first rehearsal.  I was mucho proud of her.  I knew she was excited to do something this Christmas, and happy that it’s with me.  She did very well last night, and I’m very excited for the last half hour of our show!  Something "never before seen" in Huntsville.. fantastic.

Then, as Steph has already filled you in on, all of the WildeChicks (minus E and Nancy, for reasons already established) and one WildeSir (I don’t like that; we won’t use it again) met over at BAMM for Mike to play Thomas and for us to gossip over coffee.

We had to go BACK to Renaissance to get through one of my scenes, which was fun because we got to gossip with Bob and watch Elyse in all of her glory.  She’s going to be spectacular.. and I’m not at all surprised that she’s a ham. :)

After that, I went home to a very tired Bryan (he had been moving furniture all day, bless his heart), and we went through our days and fell asleep.

When my alarm went off, I rolled over and .. somehow.. convinced him to go in late to school, and I made the same arrangements.

So about nine-thirty, we showered.

Life is so happy.
