Random things that I’m thinking about right now and don’t need to forget any longer:

  • Ladies, I have a lady here who wants to throw a Pampered Chef party.  I really doubt I would buy anything.. if anyone is just dying to stock up on Pampered Chef before the holidays, let me know and I’ll schedule her.
  • There is not going to be a Halloween party this year due to the Nashville outing of the WildeChicks.  I have decided.
  • Ladies, Bryan needs wine bottles for the one-act.  I thought we should offer our services and just get sloppy one night. (E, still have that one we finished on Friday?)
  • I need a colorist for my hair.  I have this need to get funky.
  • Mmmmm.  Christian Bale.  MMMMmmmm.
  • I cannot wait for Nashville.  Are we sure we don’t want to request some Barry for our room?

Okay.  I’m about to head home, feed the dogs, grab my stuff from Propst, head to Christmas Light, and then hopefully return to a warmed home.

It sure is nice to have a man around the house. :)

I’m so incredibly mushy today.

And the winner for the most amusing conversation of the day goes to.. KEBOOBALAH!!

  • "So what do I do now?" .. "Well, you leave a comment on HER xanga." .. "I should put my hair back on first."

I’m still giggling.  Thanks for the smile.

Well, as I suspected, I was NOT chosen for the cast of L5Y, and as I suspected, I am really okay with it. I walked away knowing I was not the strongest vocally there, and JRB deserves to have his stuff BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER.  So I am serving as stage manager and singing in the pre-show cabaret concert.  And although it sounds like sour grapes, I’m happy with this arrangement because it involves little to no rehearsal time and I can choose my songs.  Life is good.  He wants torch song classics.  I have three that I can pull out ("A Kiss to Build a Dream On", "You Don’t Know Me", and "Someone to Watch Over Me") and life is good.

I need a nap.  We did not sleep well last night.  Bryan couldn’t turn his brain off (we HAVE to stop having such serious discussions over pillow talk), and I was afraid to fall asleep for the fear I would freeze to death in my sleep.  As a result, we are both dragging.

It turns out that my furnace requires a pilot light.  Who knew?

What other classic torch songs can you think of?

Miss Katie Lynn Broad is ADing the show, and I’m very excited to hear that.  Bill and I both agreed that she’s talented far beyond her age.. almost to the point of being a freak of nature. (I mean in the kindest way possible, KLB.)

She laughs at midgets, people.

I don’t.  I just try to run them over.  Unsuccessfully.  I am such a failure!
