feels like a purchase. So it’s almost as good. It’s similar to Coca-Cola Zero.
“You don’t need to worry about that thing anymore,” she said. This woman, who I’ve known since I was 10 years old and has beat me upside the head and loved me harder than most, stood before me with her wise ways and crooked index finger and tried to make me see the light. We were sitting in the back of one my new “safe” places (although it’s been an old safe place for as long as I can remember), Lee Theatre. There, I’m not “Sarah Brown”, I’m either Sarah or Comer’s Girlfriend.
She smiled at me, and I marveled at the inevitability of change and how it really all stays the same. “It just doesn’t matter, Sarah. You KNOW that. Bridges have been burned. It’s okay.”
I shook my head. “I didn’t mean to burn any bridges,” I said.
She giggled. “They weren’t yours.”
I got to be useful last night, which helped immensely. And I am beginning to see what Bryan sees in the kids.. there are real people there, they just need some humanity brought to them.
It’s actually a decent show. I’m incredibly proud of what he’s done with it, how hard the kids have worked, and how they’ve overcome multiple obstacles to get there.
In other news, Ryan was finally booted from SYTYCD. Melody is still there. I missed the show, but I can only imagine how pissed off Destini must’ve been.
