"The Office"

Once, JW and I were talking about an episode he saw of "The Office" (which, oddly enough, comes on tonight) that moved him.  There is a guy on the show who is desperately smitten with the secretary, although she’s engaged to a jerk.  This cute little puppy dog boy just pines over her, but it’s all in vain.  It’s obvious to everyone that they’re perfect for eachother.

The boy loses his biggest sale of the year, what usually makes up 25% of his annual commission, and is majorly bummed.  He lost the sale because they had to go to some corporate training, and someone else made the sale.  While in the closing session of the training, the secretary leans her head on his shoulder and falls asleep.

His face is precious.

He’s hesitant to wake her up, but he finally does and she leaves.  And when they interview him (the whole show is done as a documentary), he reflects back on his day and says, "All in all .. it was a pretty sweet day."

I was talking to our supplies manager (the one who draws me little notes) about being harrassed by some of my engineers about supplies (CHRISTOPHER), and he says, "

hahaha! they had better lay off my Sarah!

All in all, a pretty sweet day.

Once, there was an improv night at the Plummer Rd. building.

I went with three of my best guy friends, but said I was "NOT GOING TO GET UP THERE."  Like that mattered.

A man hosting the event, with good hair and better charm said to one of my friends, "Get your curly-headed lass up here."

I won the game.  And he won my respect.

We shot many weddings, reunions, and models together.

We had many wings.

We laughed A LOT.

I watched his son grow.

I watched his daughter develop.

We had many beers.

He took the best pictures of me I’ve ever had taken.

Bryan said he didn’t want him to shoot our wedding because, "I want him to be in the wedding."

This man is more talented than he is loving.. and that’s saying something.

And I have every faith that things will turn out right in the end.

Best of luck to you, Shoulder-Man.

Tell Sean Connery I said hi.

TOTALLY

We all have crutch phrases.  They are phrases that we don’t know we say a bunch.

I think mine is "totally".

I think this because Bryan did an impression of me and totally said it about a bazillion times.

And when he read Ronda’s FANTASTIC card, he said, "No, if this were you, you’d say TOTALLY first."

So I’m totally not gonna say it anymore.
