I like laughing.  Bryan and I laugh a lot.  Which is good, cause the Boy is in this phase where he makes up jokes.  They’re not REALLY funny, but his creativity always tickles me.  Jenni did the same thing when she was little.. we called them “Jenni Jokes”.  We hated them.  They were AWFUL.  But we laughed, each and every time.

E talked about how lucky her kids were that her and her hubby laugh a lot.  That gives me hope.  Cause sometimes, we will lose our breath laughing.  We will guffaw to the point of tears, that point where you WANT to stop, and you’re praying that God will keep filling your lungs with air, because you have obviously lost control of your body.

I love laughing.  Big ole belly laughs.

At ridiculous things.

And people.

A week from yesterday will be Christmas Carol auditions.  And I don’t care what the rumors are in town.. I am still strongly involved.  This will be my eighth CC.  I’m doing this in honor of Fred.  And I’m ready.  I’ve heard a DOZEN rumors about how I’ve quit.. or how I’ve been removed.. or how I’ve resigned.. they’re all hilarious.  I love laughing.

And, probably MOST importantly, I will be hanging out with the Fabulous Jeff White.  Life has kept us as two ships, passing in the night for, like.. FOREVER now, and we will have an excuse to hang out now. :) Wings.  Lots and lots of wings.  Fabulous.

I will be there, at auditions.  Because I’ve been doing Christmas Carol.. nay, I’ll say it.. THEATRE a lot longer than people give me credit for.  I was taught in the old school of theatre, where you don’t get artistic freedoms and you don’t get “conflicts” and you don’t get any of that.  S’crap.  Am I perfect?  Nah.  But can I spot good stuff?  Man, you have no clue.

And will I fight for what I believe in?  Try me.

Still glowing about last night.  It was fantastic.  A text message going home just topped it off: “You looked flawless.”

It was the love, seeping out.  I was oozing love. :) And laughing.  I love laughing.

I can’t wait for the new site!!

Day after birthday

Man, the morning after.

After a night like last night, when I go home and everything’s all.. urpy.. I thought the morning after would be a disaster.

NOT TRUE. :)

I’m over at my parents’ house now, chilling with my sister.  My aunt also came in.  Daddy made us a gigantic breakfast, and we’re all hanging out.  And what did my sister get me for my birthday?  ONLY THE COOLEST THING EVER.. I NOW OWN A MAGIC BULLET. (The Women will be ecstatic.)

So.. last night was just awesome.  It was cool to be surrounded by so much laughter, so much giggling, and so much love.  An IMMENSE thanks to Steph for the shindig.  Also, a HUGE thanks to Ronda and Steve for the website (we will be up and running soon!); to Keboobalah for the dinos, the book, and the game; to Caroline (we missed you!) for the diary and the shot glasses; and to the boys for the multitude of DVDs (”This is the swordfighting movie.”).

It was nice that E got to come play, and I finally got to meet Megan’s beau!  He is a perfect match for the 9/3 gal.  Y’all were way too much fun.  Can’t wait to do that again.  It kind of frightens me to imagine Jerry and Conrad getting together. :)

Today is a very laid back day, as I imagine tomorrow will be, too.  With Jenni here, things will be easy-going. :) I plan on hanging here most of the day, playing with my website (tee hee hee.. so ecstatic!!), and eating my birthday cake (creme caramel.. mm!).  Tonight.. there is to be an air-hockey championship.

It’s been a fabulous 25.  Truly.  There will be no quarter-lifer crisis for me.. I have more than I ever thought I could.

.. sorry to get so cheesy there.  Look.. there’s two squirrels doin’ it! (Truly, Ra.. perfect card.)
