Yesterday afternoon, Bryan and I indulged in the most luxurious of activities: we took a nap.  NAKED.

I have no idea why such a simple act feels so spoiled, but it does.  As we drove back from Costco, after dropping The Boy off with his mother, I begged Bryan to take a nap with me.  Yes, it made us very lame to be taking a nap at four o’clock on a Sunday afternoon, but I did not care.

Something about the feel of the sheets on my bare back while the sun is still out makes me feel very happy.  And his mild snore as the light fades always does my soul good.  Add to that Bryan’s recent acquisition of a memory-foam mattress topper (AHHH! So nice!), and you had one lazy, FABULOUS Sunday afternoon activity.

I just wanted to share that with you, as we enter that afternoon lull.  I would give just about anything to be back in bed.
