Huntsville is so nutty when it comes to weather.
For instance, today. Today, there is a line of storms coming through that produced tornadoes somewhere else. One of them was a “triple tornado”, where three individual vortexes joined together to create one massive tornado.
Keep in mind, this Super Tornado happened early yesterday morning. So there’s a good chance this storm has lessened in strength and severity as it’s been stomping our way.
However, because the Tennessee Valley thrives on storms, the entire valley has closed. Schools are either closed early or didn’t open at all, businesses are rescheduling everything tonight, and you can imagine people are running by the store for bread and millk. (Why? Who knows.)
Right now?Â
It’s not even raining.
I’m making tea with honey and hoping that I won’t have to post a “Geez, I was so wrong about the weather” post tomorrow.
