My good friend who I just met a month ago and I were talking backstage the other night, and I mentioned that he should get a Facebook and be like all the other cool kids. (You know, the cool kids that I totally mocked UNTIL I got a Facebook.) He and I started talking firewalls, MySpaces, and other whatnot, and he said, “I love it when theatre people get into blog wars.”

And all I could do was stare blankly at him.  Because I HATE that.  I’m all about being exposed to a variety of opinions, but FIGHTING over it is ridiculous. (Lesson learned, I told a makeup lady.  Lesson learned the HARD way.)

In other funny and semi-related news, BoingBoing posted a hysterical article about how people transform from completely normal (although I find that often arguable) to completely assholish once they get on the internet.  Here’s the theory in pictoral form:
