It has been a DAY today. And when I say “DAY”, I’m sighing. Because it’s been that kind of DAY. Nutty. Hectic. Insane. Unpredictable. Whew.
I’m sitting down at my desk for the first time since 10:30. I’ve been all over Huntsville, supporting meetings. It was a scary thing, sort of. I’m not ever normally nervous, but I sat in a room today with the man who controls our company, and I just about peed in my pants.
My favorite part, the part that still makes me smile, is that when I was in this meeting, I looked over at some of my managers. They were giggling at me. Like, red-faced and giggling. Chortling, if you will. I mouthed a “What?” in their direction, but they both giggled some more and looked away.
After the meeting, I approached them and smacked them on the arm. “What in the hell was all that about?” I asked.
They both beamed. “Our little Sarah is growing up,” they cooed.
If they only knew the half of it.
Have a fanastic weekend.
