I am way too overdressed today.  We were GOING to have a very big meeting today, with lots of government people coming over to see this new piece of hardware or something or other, but it was canceled.  So I am wasting my cute little outfit on just the same ole nitwits I see, day in and day out.

So I thought that, for Halloween, I could be Princess Fiona.  I’ve already got the hair extension.  But I can’t find a decent costume.  All of them are from Shrek 2, which is a bland dress.  I want the bright emerald green from Shrek 1, and no one carries it anymore.  So no Fiona for me.

Back to the drawing board.

IT IS SO QUIET HERE TODAY. 

I will be appearing in "A Christmas Light" at Renaissance this winter, playing Claire, the sassy waitress who sings.  A lot.  Mark your calendars: we’ve got three weekends running, so there’s no excuse not to see it.

I have leftover chinese at home that I am drooling over.

I’m fighting with our corporate accounting today.  There is one guy that I support who just moved here, and getting his relocation expenses paid was a three month nightmare, but finally got finished.  Now, they’re charging his credit card $11K for travel (that never occurred) TWICE in September.  And all they can say is, "Well, someone charged it."

Uhh.. okay, genious with a j.  WE didn’t.

So, we learned late last night.. asking the Dad’s permission is going to be the easy part of the equation..

We’re heading to Jasper this weekend, I think.  Picking up a globe or something.  Any excuse to get out of town for a bit, and breathe some different air.  I’m going to meet the family, too.  Woo.

Thinking about stopping in Unclaimed Baggage on the way in, if I can convince the driver.  I’d go nuts in there.
