A few random thoughts, because I have nothing of substance to convey this afternoon:
- I am going car shopping this afternoon. Wish me luck. I hate car shopping, and more so, car salesman HATE me. I understand the double-speak, I’m highly impatient, and if one more man shows me “the make-up mirror” as a feature to a car, I will scream. I HATE CAR SHOPPING. I do, however, like car test-driving.
- Do not reprimand me, in front of your child, for saying he looks like a girl. Especially when you say, in front of said child, that his hair does resemble a mullet. I find the phrase “like a girl” FAR less demeaning than “like a mullet,” and if you don’t, I’m concerned for the welfare of your child.
- I am exhausted. I woke up to have my eyes swollen shut, a sign that ALWAYS signals my body’s sudden deterioration. I’m either on the verge of being sick, I’m either WAAAY too stressed out, or I’m allergic to some eye make-up. (The former two are far more likely than the latter.)
- Some man with a small child sang to me at Target last night. I didn’t recognize him.. at all.. but he knew me. I walked by, and he began to softly sing “Sarah” while circling me in the store. You never realize how small this town is until you stop recognizing people you may or may not have been with in the past.
- The “Inside the Actor’s Studio” episode with Dave Chappelle is on again tonight. Watch and draw your own conclusions.
- I HATE THIS WEEKEND ALREADY AND IT HASN’T EVEN STARTED.
- Delle comes in tomorrow, which helps.
