It JUST hit me.  HARD.

It’s spring outside.  And I’m inside.

And what’s strange is that, this year, I have the itch to move.  Not to travel, not to be at the beach, or at the Cafe du Monde, or even in Chattanooga.. I have this overwhelming urge to move residences.  Why?  I have NO idea.

Because, you know, Sarah doesn’t have enough on her plate right now.

So I happened to find a link to a realtor who seems to deal exclusively with the North East side of town (which is where I want to live and die).  Okay, that sounded morbid, but REALLY.. I do want to be buried in Maple Hill.  I don’t care whom I have to make a pact with, but I WILL be buried there.  And, you know, I’d kind like to live around there too, while I’m here.

Anyway, back to the realtor.  So I’m browsing through his site to see what I can find to CHEAPLY purchase around that area.  Off of Maysville?  A few houses.  Some of them very scary looking.  But then, quite by accident, I found it.  Lots of “it”.  Rentals in Five Points.  Like, on main thorougfares of Five Points.  With everything that I look for in houses.. AND DISHWASHERS.  AND FRONT PORCHES.  AND JACKSON VINE.

So there they are.  I found two that are EXACTLY what I’d want.. down to the hardwood floors, fireplaces, and front-porch swings.. but they are a bit more than I pay now for rent.  So I’m rationalizing in my head.. “Well, if I put in another four hours of overtime a week, I could probably make that extra money..”

Someone talk me out of it.  Quickly.
