Santa 2011: It Happened.

We’ve discussed here many, many times how my child has a (perhaps) irrational fear of Santa.

Out of the blue on Saturday, he announced the he wanted to go see Santa. And not just see Santa, but sit on his lap. Tell him what he wants for Christmas. ACT LIKE A NORMAL CHILD.

I was stoked.

Then he told us what his terms were in exchange for this.

I looked at Bryan and said, “I have to work on Sunday, but MY GOD, you are to make this happen.”

So Bryan took him on Sunday, under Tony’s own terms, and it happened.

    Totally awesome! And it’s ever better that Santa so totally gets it! (Might the girlie in me also add that the Caped-Crusader’s blue ensemble actually pulls together Santa’s trademark red suit and the way-out-there purple wing-chair.)

    Probably the best part was Santa repeatedly calling Tony “The Dark Knight”. Santa was amazing.
