So Scout is well on her way.
I’m very excited about having a new baby around. I’m very excited to have a new WildeChick. All of this is very exciting.
With all of the hullabaloo about Scout and Avery-or-Lawson-Lloyd-Kincaid-maybe, I had put a very important event out of my head. My mother asked me about it the other day: Have you done any wedding stuff?
Oh, shit. Who’s getting married?
Oh, yeah.. me.
I can plan, decorate, drape everything in tulle for someone else, but I have to say that when it comes to my own event planning.. I suck. Badly. I’m sitting here, looking at various reception sites around town, and not really caring. It’s not that I don’t want a reception.. I just want it to magically appear.
I’m looking at the Grand Hall for the reception, with the Children’s Pavillion/Garden as the ceremony site.Â
And mom and I agreed on a napkin to base the wedding colors around.
.. and that’s it, really.
I know the dress. I know the bridesmaid’s dresses. I know that, you know, I’m getting married mid-October. Other than that.. I’ve got nothing.
.. one more baby, and then I’ll think about it.
Edit: I totally just called EarlyWorks, and the words left my lips, “I’m trying to coordinate a wedding reception-type-function.” TYPE-FUNCTION? To be quite honest, the whole thing made me very giddy.. I’M GETTING MARRIED!
