I know.  It’s been too quiet around here.

I really am trying to drudge up a post, but I’ve already shared my mega tampon story with you, and that’s all I have at the moment.  It was a weekend, but we haven’t had a really restful or productive weekend since.. December, I suppose.

This week, our kitchen is being torn apart due to a mold issue.  MOLD.  Do you know how disgusting mold is?  Especially when one of you has OCD, and there is mold .. visible, grody mold.. coming from underneath your floor?  Nasty.  Eww.  So we’re boarding the dogs, staying at my parents’ house, and hoping it gets resolved in the time frame they said it would.

I’ve started running again, and if I do say so myself, I’m quite proud.  I ran three times last week and walked a BUNCH.  I’ve found that my hips, which have been miserable since pregnancy, feel so much better after I run.  Whodathunk?

Also, I’m giving a second shot to a product I initially detested: BareMinerals makeup.  I tried the line when they first came out, some eight odd years ago, and the stuff ate up my skin.  But everyone, including the lovely Linda, just raves about it.  Can I really be SO odd that I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t like this makeup?  So I’m trying it one more time. (With a 60 day risk-free trial, who wouldn’t?) So far?  I’m not seeing a WORLD of difference.. but I guess that’s to be expected when the “Well-Rested” eyeshadow, which is touted as a “skin brightening, lightening eye shadow”, is dark enough to use as an actual shadow on my pale-ass skin.

I’m freezing today.  Please, Lord, don’t let me come down with The Crud that is crippling most of our city right now.

It could be just change it. Her real name is Brooke….ha!
I cant beleive your running! That is my cardio of choice but these milk bags CAN. NOT. deal. Your weight loss is about to kick into high gear. Keep up the good work:)

@ Jamie – so far, so good. And I like swirling.

@ Christina – It’s not far. Not nearly as far as I was running pre-knocked up, but it’s a decent start. The journey of a thousand miles and so forth. :) Admittedly, I could not imagine running while I was breast feeding. SLEEPING was too much.

Ok….. I soooooooooo love Bare Minerals. And yes, all my friends are hooked on it too. The thermal tee’s with “Little Diablo” on it were all the rage for kids when I was in LA.
