At Grandmommy’s

First of all: I LURVE THAT BABY SOMETHIN’ FIERCE

Secondly: he is growing up so fast that it makes my head spin. He’s suddenly become cognisant of all of his surroundings, including people, and it’s the COOLEST thing in the world to walk over to him or suddenly enter a room and see his face light up. If anything would ever melt my heart, THAT is it. To have his little face get very still, his eyes flutter over my features, that light bulb click behind his eyes, and suddenly an ear-to-ear grin paste itself on his face? OHMYGOD, IT’S BETTER THAN LOLCATS.

Thirdly: I swear his hair is red. He IS the miracle child!

Fourthly: I am freakin’ exhausted. It’s only Thursday of my first week back and I’m dragging serious ass. However, we had a fantabulous rehearsal last night for “The Last 5 Years”, which you HAVE to come see and I might not be your friend anymore if you don’t. Our cast is simply phenomenal and I love them and we have so much fun and I could gush about it forever, but then you’d just get annoyed and it wouldn’t mean as much when I gush about it later.

So I’ll save it. For later.

(But you should still come see it. February 8-10 and 14-16.)
