It’s my favorite time of year: the time of year when I sit at home by myself and watch Bravo’s Scariest Movie Moments. I will freak my shit out watching this.. and I’ve seen this special (probably) three times. From beginning to end.
It’s introduced me to a whole new genre of scary, horror flicks (hello, Cronenberg!), and it also reminds me of movies that I loved and haven’t seen in a long time (who didn’t have nightmares from The Hand That Rocks the Cradle?). It’s also brought to light a few movies that honestly seem far too scary for me to watch. (Look up Oldboy. Jesus.)
This weekend, we have 1408 at the house, and we may even venture out to see Saw IV (although, admittedly, the last one was a bit silly for me). I worry if this is warping my unborn child. But only a little worry.
I guess if I have to have my feet up when I’m not at work, I might as well be ingesting some absolutely gory and horrific nonsense.
What’s your favorite horror movie?

I just can’t watch them! They give me nightmares.
All time, hands down, have to watch with the lights on, scariest movie ever:
The Exorcist
I made Bryan watch that this weekend, but it was on AMC, so it was WAAAY cut-up. But yeah, I totally agree with you. That movie STILL gives me the serious creeps. Especially the re-released version they put out a few years ago.. the “spider” scene gave me nightmares.
