The New Design

So, this is the new site. Still a few kinks to work out (many thanks to Steve today for helping where he could, and never once exclaiming, “God, why in the world do you do this to yourself?”), but all in all.. I feel okay about this. It’s much cleaner, and I needed a new slate to work from.

Things I still hope to achieve:

  • I am not a fan of the color scheme. I want pink where there’s blue. I will figure that out. Eventually.
  • I’m working with Wordpress’s (relatively) new Widgets. They’re so new that there’s not many to choose from. I’m ready for the Chuck Norris widget that will enlighten you as to the many facets make up Chuck Norris.
  • I just learned about AllConsuming today, so I hope to make that happen. I like graphics.

    • I also am open to reader suggestions. You people look at this site; what do you think it needs?

      Dude, it’s still The Anvil Tree (dot com)! It just takes time.. it will be overwhelmingly Pepto Bismol colored in time.

      So I’m having platform issues between Wordpress 2.2.2 and K2 (the theme). Which means that sometimes my left column shows up, and sometimes it doesn’t.

      Most annoying is that I can’t WRITE A FREAKIN’ POST. Only Safari will load the dashboard correctly. I can’t wait to get hoome and share with you the litany of “support” emails with my host provider today.
