I KNOW.
I feel like a bad spouse, constantly having to apologize here for neglectful behavior. I suck. Truly.
Work has been crazy hectic all week. I’m doing the job of three people this week. And, if I do say so myself, I am TOTALLY kickin’ ass and takin’ names.
Book Club is tonight, which I’m stoked about. I need to unwind a bit.
A puppeteer won America’s Got Talent last night. Yes, I cried.
Last weekend, we saw The Bourne Ultimatim and The Last Legion. We recommend the former for a FANTASTIC action movie (who knew Matt Damon was so damn hot?), and the latter for a movie that you can totally make fun of. (It was laughably bad.)
Ooh, and I leave you with this.. yesterday, when I got home, a HUGE tree was cut up on the other side of the street. I figured, naturally, that they were cleaning up rotting trees. (Not unheard of in our historic neighborhood.) Fern stopped by when she saw Bryan and I walking to dinner and said that the entire tree (probably a good 40 foot fall oak) had TOPPLED over. Had we been there, it would’ve demolished both mine and Bryan’s car.Â
So here’s my question: is karma on our side, in that we WEREN’T there at the time? Or did we just outwit karma this one time? Because it could’ve fallen the OTHER way..
